It was a foggy night in Minnesota, bringing about fond memories of Maine. I went walking blindly through the tall grass and came out with my nostrils filled with spring and my pants soaked up to the knees. I hope this beautiful phenomena exists frequently in Northern Louisiana.

Ah, a man on the go, you have your suitcase packed already, probably full of cheese curds and drinking birds for your little sill in Louisiana! What kind of wildlife will you be watching out for in northern Louisiana? Snakes? Gators? Hope the fog goes well, we’re looking forward to dryer times in the desert. Next week we buy boxes!

I figured out what this reminded me of, a dream I had a long time ago- I saw myself as a child, as present and as future an old woman all at the same time on a journey that moved from a to a green field much like that of this photo.
